I actually don't know what they are yet. It is an ebay auction and the skates pictured are bright gold.

I've also seen non-AG gold skates. Do the skates say american girl on them?
The poster actually doesn't say anything about tags on them at all, and they don't even appear to have blades.
I've decided not to bid, but if you are really curious they are in an auction for Samantha's winter outfit.
